Lacey's final diagnosis

We took Lacey for the final testing & she was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. We have learned better information to help Lacey better @ home & in school. I am probably gonna have to use the laws to help Lacey in the school system. It will get things done. We have a wonderful speech therapist that was in our school system that will be our advocate. We will continue to have our own private speech therapist & occupation therapist during summer & after school (year round) as well as the school systems help. I am glad that Lacey will have help in school & not struggle like I did! I am proud of my daughter because she has came such a long way. I thank God for my 2 kids! They Bless my life everyday!!

God is soo awesome!

I was starting on my bible study & I just got a question in my mind, Why did God only speak to a few people in the old testiment, there are less than 100 people in the old testiment where God spoke to people; The ones who God anointed & the Prophets that's it... Kings had Prophets tell the what the Lord said.  Then when Jesus died on the cross the Holy Spirit could come to those who believe in Christ our Savior.  Could you imagine not having the Holy Spirit?  It's a pretty scary thought!  Even in the old testiment the ones God did anoint with the Holy Spirit, God could also take the Holy Spirit away from them, which that hole that was filled with the Holy Spirit could allow an evil spirit in, WOW.  Thank you Lord for sending your Son, Jesus; that way nothing can take your Great Love You have for us.  No matter how far people try to run away from You; You still Love & are forgiving! I just want to Thank HIM for that today!

Ok0 So we let Slate pick out his Valentines Day cards & he picked JB. He didn't know it came with a poster & he was sooooo excited & He said he would never take it down so I thought I would get him on video saying that for future reference :) I thought it was sweet & we will see if he still wants it up when he's 30!!!

This site is the best b/c it gives you soo many coupons that you can find & use & the coupons you don't use you can take them off & @ the bottom it shows you how much it will cost you. You can do that & make a grocery list & even add items to your list & rearrange it to ur shopping in your store :) Makes it just sooo easy! She also bloggs on other savings on items as well!

Lacey didn't want pictures taken, she just wanted to enjoy all her gifts, right after opening the gifts she took them straight to her room & played all day in her room with her new toys :) She didn't even care to look out side!

Roxy loves to sleep under the Christmas tree. She always moves her bed under there & sleeps. I would love 2 b able to do that. Reminds me when I was younger, I use to want to sleep under the tree looking up @ all the nights :)

Homemade for the Holidays: Easy Felt Crafts: Homemade for the Holidays: Easy Felt Crafts

Here's how: Cut strips of different colors of felt in varying, random widths. Our widest strip is about 1 1/4 inches. Mixing colors, wrap strips around a Styrofoam wreath form, each piece overlapping the previous slightly, pinning or gluing to the back of the Styrofoam as you go. Decorate with a felt poinsettia (following our instructions for wall poinsettias) if desired.

When dry, apply fabric glue to the back of the petal, glue onto the flower base in between the points. Repeat four more times for each petal. Use a hole punch to make five small dots and glue them in the center of the flower, over the seam of each folded petal. Once dry, adhere to the wall with removable double-side tape.

This was my 1st book I read by Francine Rivers & it was awesome. 400 something pages? It took me 3 days to read it. I just couldn't put it down. I have a new Love for reading. More so for Christian writers. So after reading this I went to books-a-million & wanted to buy 5 or 6 book & i was like ummm no. I can go to the public library & get them for free, read them, & return them.


So I got & finished this book in a day:


Very good book about Judah's Daughter-in-Law in the bible. Paints a perfect picture of Tamar & how much she became a woman of God. Awesome!

The Sing-a-ma-jigs!™ - Simply Irresistible Kooky Characters

Lacey absolutly loves these Sing-a-ma-jigs. We went to the store the other day & I saw she was playing with this toy & it was singing & I found myself one. We got them together & pressed them @ the same time & they where in harmony.. I believe we would have played with them the rest of the day. Needless 2 say I bough her 2 for Christmas. I know she's gonna enjoy it as much as I am. LOL

Slate was in his room while I was folding clothes & I heard some loud singing. I tried to quietly go in his room & video him but he had the door shut, so I didn't get to catch him in the act without him knowing... LOL He loves this fish.. Why when Paw-Paw gave it to him to take home, he slept with it in the bed.

3 favorite THANKSGIVING Recipes

Happy Day b4 Thanksgiving everyone :) Today I am making 2 side dishes for our Thanksgiving @ Nana's. I will give you the recipes. The last is a fav of mine I thought I would share :) Happy ThanksGiving< :-)

Broccoli Casserole:
2pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
1 can of cream of mushroom or chicken (I don't like Mushrooms)
1 egg, beaten
1/3c. Mayonnaise
1c. shredded cheese
cook broccoli & drain water off.
Mix w/ rest of the ingredients.
bake @ 350 for 30 mins. but I find I have to cook just a lil long @ times.

My famous Sweet Potato Crunch: Big Hit
2c. mashed cooked sweet potatoes
1c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2c evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla

I double this: It goes on the top!

1/2 - 1c. chopped pecans

1c. brown sugar
1/3c melted butter
1/3c flour
combine sweet potatoes, sugar, eggs, & milk, 1/2 cut butter & vanilla in a mixing bowl, mix well.
Spoon into baking dish. Mix brown sugar, flour, 1/3 cup of butter, pecans in a bowl, spread over sweet potatoes. Bake @ 350 for 30mins, check may have to cook more.

Mac & Cheese Casserole:
8oz mac
1 can of cream of mushroom or chicken
1 cut mayo
1sm jar pimintos (I don't like Pimintos but you can't taste it)
1sm chopped onion
2c. shredded cheese
Mix all in a dish
2pkg. ritz crakers crushed
1 stick of butter
Mix & top mac
Bake @ 350 for 30 mins

Oct. 18th

Slate made us proud with his 1st report card. Honor roll :) & lost 2 teeth this week. So we went shopping this weekend & found a steal on a new scooter. So we bought 2 of them.. They were regular in between $79-$99 and bought it for $24 even so we got 2 just incase. It was suppose to be put up for Christmas but you know Tommy & I. We just couldn't wait b/c Slate has been wanting a razor sooo bad & for the Honor roll we decided just to go on ahead and just give it to him. LOL Lacey does good with it too, she loves Slate's scooter so it's awesome that we bought 2.. Slate was sick all day Sunday & woke up with a fever @ 3am, his lil tummy was hurtin. I kept him out of School today, got him a Dr.'s appointment @ 10:10.. I'm sure breathing tx & cough meds. We are actually both sick. I've been sick since last Sunday, I could not even talk for 2 days. Guess it's this weather not being able to make up it's mind if it wants to be 80 or 67 degrees. I just pray we are all better b4 halloween b/c we were all sick for fall break. Lacey's out of school on her fall break this thurs. & fri. I'm going to get to have Lacey's friend over Zoe. Lacey loves Zoe, she's our next door neighbor. I just pray we are over this sickness b4 then! Please Pray for us! :)

Getting it all out there!

Today was a really depressing day.. I spent all day by myself, like I do everyday while the kids r in school. I really don't like to talk on the phone. I actually can't stand my phone b/c only having relationships threw phone or even online is depressing for me.. I want to see an actual person, to hang out with. I am soo trying hard to not end up back in the rut I was in, not being sociable & back in my shell, It's hard thought. Especially when I only have kids to talk to & their not really into talking to me, just one another. Today I felt invisible, like I don't exsist. I try to reach out & get myself out there but I can only do so much. When will this cycle ever end!! Maybe getting a job will help me but @ the same time a job won't help b/c you really can't b friends with those peps you work with & if the kids ever have something @ school I wouldn't b able to b there for them. I have no support, Tommy's @ work all day & it's just me & the kids. My kids aren't the problem, it's just me. Today just sucked!!! I'm just having one of those days :(

Ah, To Be A KID Again!

Kids r soo funny. I love our neighbor's kids.. Slate made the move adjustment well. On this in particular day we had all the neighbor kids @ the house. They sure were using their imaginations, playing football, climbing up trees (Tommy actually had to go outside to get DJ out of the tree b/c he climbed so high & got stuck), riding scooters, bikes, coloring with chalk on our drive way, playin hide in go seek, tag, water ballons, & last but not least cops & bad guys, in the mist of it all Lacey was right there 2!! I have a blast watching them play. It's almost like I get to b a kids again threw them!

teens was going wayyyyyy 2 fast & got taken to

Jail!! @ least all the kids lives right beside us but

on the oppsite side are 3 houses where they are

fast drivers.. Not a good combination!

Thanks for all the love during the time of Tommy's sisters death aka. Sherry Adams. I understand most could not make it during the time & day of the funeral. The flowers were also beautiful as Sherry loved flowers. She is in a better place. I will post some Pics & a video soon of Sherry.
